If they're level 18-21, shouldn't they be soloable at level 20?
the flys have a better drop rate the the wadi hares
Ran out of Grass at the AH in Jeuno half way through doing the chocobo quest (which here selling for 2k per grass, my poor wallet) since I didn't savour the idea of running back through Pashhow Marsh to get to Wadi I decided to head over to Meriphataud to hunt for the Grass. Which was difficult at best as there was no chance of PT I'm only level 21 WHM/BLM
Killed 3 Crane DC's and 4 EP's with no Gaussbit drop. Was forced to log due to area matainence. I'll be trying again later tonight.

I just got thf sub to 15 and was checking out this area for farming. I started killing these and it was very rare NOT to get the drop with Treasure Hunter. As a BLM, if you're bored you can fill a mules inventory with these in an evening by warping back to jeuno when you're full, then chocoing right back here. I was 30BLM/15THF at the time.
I go here all the time, get about 20 pieces in 30 mins...dont know what you guys are talkin about, very easy to get, not that rare at all. BST/WAR and PLD/WAR just so you know...no THF and it drops 1/3 Flies.

I just go to Dangruf Wadi to get Gausebit Grass....sells good...makes me rich...no hassle...

The Gausebit grass seem to have extremly low drop rate. I fought them for over 1 hour and only got 1 of them..
not all that rare.. a pt of 4 were killing for the grass cuz two people that needed choco forgot to get some..... we got 1 every 5 minutes or so... ok maybe that is rare, but not too bad.
