went there as lvl 48, some coned as too weak and some EP, soloed them with my npc for 200 exp and lvled to 49, then they all were too weak.

Efts have about 1100 HP ± 50, the eft NM Intulo has 4170 HP ± 360 (MNK73 killed with 700dmg asuran fists)
Efts use poison, stun, dispel, AOE and are sleepable and seem weak to aero

I've run through Bibiki before, but I always avoided fighting the Efts. I was bored today, so I thought I might as well take one down. These things have a ton of Hp. When it was at about 35%(guess) health, I hit it with a Raging Fist for 378, and that barely put a scratch in it. Only move it used was Cyclic tail, but that was sort of weak.
So yeah, for their level, they are rather tough. Had a harder time with these then the Raptors in Sauromogue.
EDIT: After a nasty Gob fight entering the rest of Bibiki, I noticed something sort of weird about Efts.
While healing, I could get a good look at its face. Everytime the Eft breathes, It's eyes sort of roll through a cycle in their heads. It's actually sort of cool looking.

They con DC to me at worst at level 39. Most are EP.
Not that I'll touch them yet...not until I get my Enhancing magic up with Refresh. Right now it sucks. So Stoneskin will help, but I'd still end up in a pinch.
The one time I did fight one, I was with a level 70 PLD and the Eft stood no chance. Got a high-quality eft skin too.

These con DC to T to me at lvl 34.
I can confirm the AoE Dispel TP move, it stripped my Protect last night but missed my Shell. These lil beasts also have a single-target or directional Stun move, which hit my pet but missed me.^^ Haven't seen the Poison move yet, I have Poisona ready and waiting for that one.

Well, other day in party of 3 50-55's we couldn't take Itulo THF DRK DRK. it was hitting my DRK friend for like 100+ =/ ended up being healed by a friendly person nearby to kill it..
There is atleast a 4-6 dmg a tick poison attack called Toxic Spit, cons DC w/ high def to a taru smn/whm lvl 37, EM may be 35-36.

These guys are decent challenges - tough for me at level 34. So there is no way that their level is above about 36. Unless there are some that I don't know about deeper in Bibiki Bay, Efts are approximately level 32-35
Yeah, there little guys pack poison of {death}. It does about 4 damage a second I think. I don't know, I was too busy fighting it to realize how much the poison was doing. By the time I noticed it, it was too late. -.-;
These things are adorable!!! I can confirm that they do not aggro. I predict their level to be lvl 40+.

The Efts hunch over and have shrunken arms that seem to resemble the lizards greatly. Perhaps this is just a reasonable explanation of the lizard egg drop besides their numerous other lizard characteristics.
My LS told me these aggro, BUT a higher level acquaintance told me that they do not. I have confirmed that these, which check from DC-T at 35, are not aggressive. Also, I have seen these WSs:

I went in there with my 58pld/16thf and walked into the swarm of them by the pier. Yeah, i linked maybe 3-4 of them and they brought me down to about half health. granted i never cured myself, but for their lvl they are pretty tough.

These also drop High Quality Eft Skins. Rare drop from them though, but they do drop it.
These things make me think of a rabbit and an lizard after a wild night at the bar /wink.. Anyways, my Boyfriend when there while on Bard quest, and he's lvl 36... they seemed like a DC to him... just incase anyone wanted to know ^^
I'm level 33 and a few of these con even match to me.
Just wanted to add that "Geist Wall" appears to be a AOE Dispel. Yikes.
the day after release, i went here with 46BRD and had no major trouble with these other than the god-awful amount of hp they seem to have >_<
took around 5min to kill each one, using the bard farming method of: attack mob, lullaby mob, resing buffs, heal, attack mob, repeat -_- got no drops and i gave up after 5 of em... i was honestly thinking that this really might be a good place to level as an alternative to kazham, but i also didnt see that ability ever come into play ^^;;

Level Range of normal Efts = 36-39. Why won't they update that?

level 52 BLM Dead becuase these things just wont stop ******* linking.. i just wanted to kill one.. end up fighing 2 then 3 then 4 then i use sleepga to heal becuase they interrupt 70% of castsings i try to run i got 5 6 7 on my ****
