these and all the gobs by the outpost in eastern altepa were great to lvl on @ 38, got almost 400 exp with band on
started playing today at lvl 37drk, started a prty in crawlers' nest and lvled up to 39... mnk asked if we could go to gustav tunnel, and so i just ask the whole prty after we finish the last crawler. everyone said yes to it... mnk was so happy... got there and b4 we entered the tunnel, Golden Bat was flying outside... ep to me and the prty (no drop ><), anyways enter the tunnel and didnt no wat to expect since this was my highest job. rdm just kept saying to me, i cant wait for refresh. well we start fighting, and the samurai said this is basicly the dunes just higher lvl for the mobs that we could fight. 1st this we fight was the poacher... the thing was so easy. next we faught a hawker... the AoE is terrible. next was a Gooby Reaper... hey all i can say is i got 2 new magics. Stun and Absorb-VIT... woot just cuz there never selling a jeunos AH.. well in the end i played with the same prty that i kept going for a good 6 hours plus... heh yea i like the game... but then again im trying to get lvl 75. i just overall recommend prtying here at lvls 38-45
I've been soloing these as BST/WHM level 40-42, for a total of almost 14,000xp, and the drop rate is truly awful. My only drops to date have been Beastmen Seals, 2 goblin masks, and 1 mythril beatcoin.
Oh well, the xp is great and more than makes up for it, but these gobs are either poor, or take their treasure with them to the grave, lol. :)

you can skill up to about 160 off of these and the 6th tier gobs. I did this in labyrinth of Onzozo.

what lvl can a drk solo these w/o getting my *** kicked after each~and what lvl skill ups does it give~~ also same with traders and robbers since they r liek smithys and shamns just higer lvls

Like most RNG class mobs, these guys give crossbot bolts when stealing from them, not Mythril Coins like other gobs in their tier. /cry
