did you know they also drop beast mens seals
Every mob in the game drops beastman's seal. it's just a given.

Try farming them in Sauromugue Champaign off of Sauromugue Skinks. I don't know the exact lvl of these guys but I can usaully take 8-12 with my lvl 50 drk. Just use drain ^^; Although the skin takes forever to drop its still pretty rewarding if you can farm 12 of these babies.
Faught these last night as level 23 BST and only had one time I ran out of mp but still had over 185 hp left. We took home some nice raptor skins and I plan on going back and getting more for my warchest.

Im a Elvaan lvl 30War/15mnk, Can I kill these without much trouble? Im trying to farm the raptor skins.

at lvl32 mnk.war out side of garbage citadel I found a skink, checked as easy figured ok lets go. whent from 700hp down to 300 when it finally died, wearing best gear for my lvl and it was doing 20-40dmg per hit to me. decent challenge one was doing 40-60dmg and I have to run away :(. even with 2hr at lvl 20 all the skinks in sauromugue are VT to IT and mnk 2hr is strong but no what did you kill one at lvl20.
I beat this raptor as a Lvl 20 monk while headed to Jeuno to complete the Chocobo quest, and didn't have my subjob yet. I was lucky in that I had my two-hour ability, and I dropped from like 260 hp to 6 by the end of the battle.

No, he wont. I could solo Sauromugue Skinks (The Sauromugue version of these guys) at 33.
I've seen Coeurls. I've seen axe beak...but where the hell are the raptors? I wanna fight one ;.;

The drop rate on skins is pathetic. 5% at best with TH2
