just solod this the other day not to hard of a fight started off by charming one of the bees in the room and killing the other then rested to full before poping as soon as it popd i sent bee on it and let it fight after it died i called CourierCarrie durring this time i ran back upstairs were most of the other bees are after CC died i swaped a few bees on it then dragged it to the stairs near the zone called a second CC and 2hrd fought along side CC using reward and used snarl right after ws's all in all not to hard of a fight just tough thanks to all the agro in the area

Just solo'd this as rdm/nin. I fought it inside the little square room across from his pop point, just had to clear the 4 tonberrys around it to get a clean route to pull. He can be silenced, but it's a pretty high resist rate. Garuda's dagger can work too, but i believe it only landed once the whole fight. Eventually i just stopped using mp on silence, as it's easy to cast ni when he is about to use a big spell, or right after a -ga. It attacks very fast, but missed me fairly often and i also got a decent ammount of shield blocks and parries in. And paralyze proc'd a lot on it, heh.
Took about 30 minutes to down it, no convert used but i was spamming energy drain. I even ended up having to ration shihei because i was almost out lol. It's not bad at all to stoneskin/phalanx tank, but it hits so fast that without shadows u could have some trouble getting skin back up. Very fun fight though and i have the shield for my drk now yay.

Killed this NM easy like hell with my 75 static.
i think shield is 100% Drop. ^^ i got it and it is great with Absorb macros.^^

what the hell! it's spawn from ??? ???? then who the hell spawned it when we were camping malefactor for lanterns (ZM4). we were doing fine when suddenly this popped and killed us all
The best part of Final Fantasy XI is its rich storyline. It separates this game from other MMORPGs. I chose to give my character a storyline that goes along with the game's storyline. I find that this is a more fun way to play the game. Playing the game just to fight in the endgame and collect elite equipment is very boring and is totally missing the main objective of the game, which is to guide your character through the storyline which is to save the world.
"???" to trigger him is at I-8 in the sozu rogberry map (very east in yhoatotr i think).

ok i read up you have to trade an Uggalepih Whistle (rar/ex found in uggalepih by random ???) to another ??? in uggalepih for this thing to pop
