His PH is one of the two Doom Warlocks that spawn on the eastern side of the G-8 room. Can't tell which but he has only one PH.
Could this guy be taken down solo by BST using a T-VT scorpion to start off the fight? How tough is he and how bad are his -aga's spammed? Want the pole for ***** and giggles, but don't wanna take a dirt nap trying to get it lol. Any feedback would be great. ^^
Kinda answered my own question actually last night. Took him on with lsmate Wauktownsfinest w/ me using a Familiared T Scorpion and him using a DC Pug. Those 2 alone took him to 50% with Wauk getting aggro from an Erlik and throwing his pet at that all the while us fighting Taxim. Wauk switched pets after aggro and i switched to a DC Pug as well after Taxim finally -aga'd my poor Scorpion to death. Easy fight actually. He dropped Blizzaga III(100k on Lakshmi server) and soem crystals but no pole. >.<; His placeholders were more of a problem than he actually was to kill. lol This guy can definitely be taken down solo BST especially if you start off the fight with a T-VT Scorpion. Just gotta be careful of sound/blood aggro with all the undead around.

Soloed this guy as nin/rdm a few days ago. i was dicouraged not to take it alone but i didnt listen :) long fight tho.
Duo as 75PLD/NIN and 75RDM/WHM. Easy but long fight, strongly suggest someone is either RDM or /RDM for dispel or you will have problems with ice spikes para. Silence is also pretty essential since his -ga III hits hard as hell (1k¬).

Zomg Could you guys say where you were when you were exp ing or when it popped, does it pop on the far east group of caves right after the goblins, or the far west group of caves(By Ungur), or what, come on <Help me out!>. =/

Solo'd this guy tonight with my 75SMN/37WHM. he wasn't too hard, just let my carby take him down a bit, and blasted him with a few Mountain Busters at the end to take him down. he dropped Blizzaga II which isn't on this list. *edit* forgot to mention, i got 300 exp from him as well. ^^

just a tip... Flaming Crush does way more dmg, sometimes 3 times more to skeletons.
Don't know if anyones posted already, but this guy has an extremely powerful black cloud, those of you without stoneskin run away!
Duoed with THF/NIN RDM/NIN, harder than your "average" skele in the area.
Dropped BlizzIV and Cocytus Pole.

I saw this guy a long time ago (during that event where you get teleported to a random dungeon). I thought about fighting him, but decided against it since I knew Gustav is a nasty area anyways.
You say his black cloud attack is nasty...does he do that AOE drain attack as well? (or is that only from Skeletons who use poles, and not scythes?)

Simply buncle kite him around and throw in a Mountain Buster where you see fit...

Can be duo'd by mnk/nin and rdm/whm. (We were 75, mnk would need Utsusemi: Ni, rdm could probably be less, I had no trouble silencing it.)
Can be silenced, Gravity and bound easily.
If You're kiting it it loses aggro easily if you outrun it.
Hits kinda hard on me, 250 melee unbuffed. (RDM75)
Uses tier III -ga spells, tier IV nukes and Ice spikes heheh.

not much harder than normal bones there. he hits a paladin about 20-30 more per hit but easy enough to take down.

Took down with a full pt of 68, we all got about 70 exp each. Which means it would con Tough. I'd say this NM is lvl 70-71.
I've killed this guy 4 times. 2/4 with the pole. Too bad i cant use it. We had no down time at all, we had just finished a chain5 and i was like, eh im pulling Taxim, pulled him, me and the other mkn 2hrd. end of story, Continued to xp.

PLD and MNK used 2 hour. dropped a cocytus pole, blizzard 3 or 4 can't recall, 990 gills, and gave 200 exp.
He poped again in exactlly 2 hours after we killed him, steadily killing bones in between then

I can't believe it! On our way to do Windy 9-1 we found this guy, we killed NO POLE. ARGHHHHHH

me and my pt died on that ( lvl 67-70 ). somehow we couldnt stop thundergaIII ^^ made 918 dmg on me. well well. i think hes kinda easy...except his spells. but be warned..he resisted shield bash and weapon bash ._.
what does it mean by Level: 0 - 0 anyway >.<
0-0 means that they have not determined its level. Look up "Notorious Monsters" and sort by level. Look at all the 0-0s they are all ubre mobs, typically 75+, but not always.

Killed this guy last night...
6 people in our group lvl 66-68
He dropped crap... and 600gil.
PLD(me) and MNK used 2hrs and we beat him fairly easily. (probably didn't need the 2hrs) kinda long fight though, and not really worth the 168xp we got off him.

party of 6 67-68. MNK died because Hundred Fists gave him too much hate.

With this and the previous post, I'd reckon his level varies somewhere between 76 and 80.
