Vana'diel Bestiary: Tenzen  

General Information

• Appears as the main Notorious Monster for the A Warrior's Path Chains of Promathia mission.

• Will sometimes use a Shogun Rice Ball during the fight, increasing his Attack and Defense.

• Will alternate between attacking with his great katana and his bow.

• Assisted by the Chebukki siblings. It is impossible to attack them, and they will direct their attacks on the first target that pulls hate on Tenzen, be it a PC or a pet.

• If the skillchain Cosmic Elucidation is triggered by Tenzen, it will automatically count as a loss, even if your party is not killed by the effect.

Tenzen Special Attacks

• Amatsu: Torimai: Single target two-hit physical damage. Animation is identical to the weaponskill Tachi: Enpi

• Amatsu: Kazakiri: Single target two-hit physical damage. Animation is identical to the weaponskill Tachi: Jinpu

• Amatsu: Yukiarashi: Single target physical damage with an additional Blind effect. Animation is identical to the weaponskill Tachi: Yukikaze

• Amatsu: Tsukiboro: Single target physical damage with an additional Silence effect. Animation is identical to the weaponskill Tachi: Gekko

• Amatsu: Hanaikusa: Single target physical damage with an additional Paralysis effect. Animation is identical to the weaponskill Tachi: Kasha.

• Oisoya: Single target ranged physical damage. Animation is identical to the weaponskill Namas Arrow

• Amatsu: Tsukikage: Single targe three hit physical damage.

• Using this attack to close a skillchain results in the Cosmic Elucidation effect, which inflicts massive AoE magic damage to all those in range.

• Meikyo Shisui: Increases Tenzen's TP to 300% and sets all of his special attacks to cost only 100% TP during the duration of the effect, allowing Tenzen to skillchain his attacks. Denoted by the characteristic mob two-hour animation.
