Battle NotesThe Promyvion ENMs, capped at level 30, basically mirror the Promyvion Missions for Chains of Promathia. You make your way to the Spire of each Promyvion, then fight a weaker version of the boss you fight in the actual Promyvion Missions. The reward is 18,000 experience divided by the number of people in your party, with a maximum experience gain of 3,000 per person. Winning also gives the party three memory clusters (which are used in Alchemy), and the chance to get rare earrings that give +3 on various stats. You can enter "Playing Host" and the other Promyvion ENMs with up to an entire alliance, but the experience points reward for doing so would be reduced to 1,000 per person. Each Promyvion ENM is winnable with a balanced party of six. Parties of seven or eight virtually ensure victory. To start the ENM "Playing Host," you must first talk to Venessa in Ru'Lude Gardens and acquire a key item: Censer of Animus. Everyone in your party must have this because you can't fight the ENM boss without it. Make sure everyone has proper foods and medication, Reraise items, and Signet. It is recommended to bring at least three animas to this fight, as it stops the ENM boss from spamming his high-damage AoE attacks. StrategiesWhen everyone in your party is ready, enter Promyvion - Mea and work your way up to the Spire. When you are ready, click on the door inside the Spire and choose the battle Playing Host. You have 30 minutes to defeat the boss, which is an empty NM named Envier. The Envier uses AoE weaponskills that can nearly one-shot a paladin. Also, the Envier can spawn up to three Seethers during the fight, but you only need to defeat the main mob to win. A sound battle plan to beat this boss is:
Note: If anyone dies during the fight, DO NOT TOUCH THE REWARD SPHERE THAT APPEARS AFTER THE BOSS DIES UNTIL EVERYONE IS RAISED. People who are still dead when the sphere is touched will not receive their exp reward. One more tip: If you're doing all three ENMs in one outing, try to save offensive 2-hr abilities for this fight, as well as Invincible if you have a Paladin tank. It's good to take down the Envier as fast as possible because of its dangerous AoE moves. This page last modified 2008-04-05 22:12:24. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
