Mission Orders

Find a section of the strange structure on the Konschtat Highlands that drains the energy from crystals.
Bring a faded crystal back to Chief Engineer Cid for analysis.

Walkthrough

Note: To be able to accept this quest, you may have to trade up to a stack of crystals to a gate guard.

Speak to any Bastokan Gate Guard to accept this mission. The Gate Guard will tell you to speak with Cid at (H-8) on the second floor of the Metalworks. Speak to Cid and he will give you a crystal.

After receiving the crystal, head to the Crag of Dem at (I-7) in the Konschtat Highlands. Trade the crystal to the Telepoint and you will get a Faded Crystal. Return to the Metalworks and speak to Cid. He will give you the C. L. Report. Key Item and ask you to take it to Ayame.

Speak to Ayame, located at (K-7) of the Metalworks, to complete this mission.
