SummaryYou have been talked into aiding the training of a new type of Cardian. Bring a Rabbit Hide, a Two-leaf Mandragora Bud, and an Insect Wing, so the Cardian can learn the odors of monsters he may encounter. WalkthroughKopuro-Popuro needs you to bring him some things to help him create a new Cardian. He is in Windurst Woods at the Manustery building North part of H-10. He needs a rabbit hide, a two-leaf mandragora bud, and an insect wing. These all drop just outside of town.

The C-2000 quest is not repeatable. I just tried it. The second time, Kopuro-Popuro would not take the items.
i'm not sure of the conditions, but i'm doing it my second time right now, did you talk to him before trying to turn in the items again?
Maybe you're on the followup quest, for the 3000?

Submitted the C 3000 quest walkthrough to this site...quite simple. Here it is for you all, in case you're wondering!
It is called "The allnew C 3000". This quest comes after the All new C 2000 quest. You need to fetch Kopuro a beetle shell and a hecteyes eye. Seeing that the eye is from Ranguemont pass, I decided to pass on that. The two items from the AH were a total of 600Gil. The reward, 600 Gil. This quest is repeatable.

i jsut got the quest.. the all new c 3000! new and improved... i guess its after this one.
I can't get the NPC to give me the quest either. There must be some other quest you have to do first. Maybe it's because Mission 2 has to do with cardians and I haven't finished it yet...he only talks to me about how important mana orbs are (which is the mission).
I have done a lot of quests so I doubt it's fame...maybe I'll just wait and try again once I finish Mission 2.

Ok, Once I completed the mission with the mana orbs and the cardians that come steal them from me, I was able to get this quest.
Yes, you have to say you are not quite satisfied with the cardians to get him to give it to you, but that wasn't what he said to me before I finished the mission.

I have completed the second mission (I'm not sure if this is a requirement or not).
Go to Kopuro-Popuro and talk to him. He will ask you if you are satisfied with the current line of Cardians. Select "No". He will then give you the quest.

Ok, I got a pair of insect wings a long time ago and sold them before I knew about the quest. Now I've have been killing everything and nothing will drop them! Can someone let me know what drops insect wings and where the best place is to get them? Or if someone has a lot of kindness and has a spare set they like to donate, that would be much appreciated!

They drop off of Scarab Beetles. I would say a rare drop off of them at best, maybe 1 in 15. Good Luck!

What monster drop rabbit hides for this quest?

The Rahabs drop rabbit hides. The are all over the place like rats in West and East Sarabatuda (bah spelling is close enough).
Insect Wings are off of the Giant Bees.
2-Leaf buds seem to drop more common off the tiny Mandragoras.
A faster quest at making money is in the east building inside the Aurastery in Windurst. Give an npc back by the tables a bird feather off the birds all over WS and ES and a 2leaf bud for 250g everytime. It is repeatable everyday as well.

Hey this may sound like a dumb question but im new in FFXI as a Tarutaru in Windurst and I have gotten all the three items needed to complete this, which is my first quest!, and when i go up to Kopuro and highlight him and select "trade" and try to give him the 3 items nothing happens! Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it? I need help really bad! Thnx! =^_-=
Have you talked to him first? You need to talk to him and he has to ask you to go get the things before you can hand them in.

I completed the quest but when I talk to Kopuro-Popuro, he does not send me to Kororo for the Proper Greetings quest. Is it class specific? I'm currently a lvl 4 thief... thanks for any info in advance....

Bring one of the mages in Windhurst just the 2-leaf and a bird feather and he gives you 250 gil. More money for less items. Seems smarter to me.

yes - BUT - you build your fame by completing MORE quests - which means you pay less at stores and get more favors from townsfolk.

Bird feathers can be obtainedas many as you like, 2-lead bud is a Rare item so only 1 at a time. Also doing the quest of this thread unlocks other, more paying, quests. While doing the other one won't, it's just a way of income.
