Description
This chamber within Ifrit's Cauldron holds the fire protocrystal, which is said to encase the fiery avatar of Ifrit.
This is a battlefield zone where adventurers can challenge Ifrit. The quest Waking the Beast also involves this zone.

Ifrit's really cool looking and has good physical damage but in the end, he's pretty much useless when he's in a party. I've had him for awhile (NA, not JP) and I've found that Garuda and Titan are much more useful for their party abilities, Stoneskin and Blink.

is it possible to solo ifirit and what level is he
I am a 72 blm and i took on most all the avatars except leviathen and fenrir with a 75 rdm we duo'd them with ease.
if u a lvl 75 ninja/37rdm u may be able to but not srue he's tough

reverse the jobs to 75rdm/27nin and u can solo all the avatars

irifit is the best summon regardless that u can summon all of them at lvl 1 and garuda is the biggist
I want Ifrit because he is so cool (=^.^=)

Yes, this is where Ifrit's Protocrystal is located. You must go through Ifrit's Cauldron to enter this area.
