i've read up on ffxi.cannotlinkto and that ffxi.wikipedia site. It says that you can steal from Moblin Gurneyman in Oldton Movalpolos. It says there are 2 spawn points for this guy but it is with a party of Moblins. Also it says it is 16 minutes respawn for this guy.

I was able to steal one from a Moblin Topsman in Newton Molv. (sp).
drops in BCNM 60 Anticans.

So Fire Crystal + 4 Platinum Beastcoins = a Platinum Ingot?
I had that question too.... my goldsmithing skill is close to the point where I need to make platinum ingots, so does anyone know if you can use platinum beast coins to make platinum ingots? that would be much more convinent than buying that retched ore >.<
