The main villain in the Prince of Tennis movie "Futari no Samurai" is named Sakurafubuki. He is a con artist who owns an ocean liner and tries to get the Seishun Gakusen tennis team to throw games. One of the heroes refers to him at first as the "guy with the funny name."

correct. Its name means a storm of cherry petals, similar to what you describe.

Sakura is, as most know, a cherry blossom symbolizing the warrior. Fubuki is a snowstorm or blizzard. It has an odd combination of feelings. Sakura being calm and beautiful while Fubuki is a harsh and destructive force.
