These are good no matter what sub you use them on. I personally would use these or the Tarsque Mitts +1 since both give you Attack +12. Since you are /nin it really doesn't matter because Rampage damage is modified to strength. Just wear these for attacking and macro in Pallas or Allky Braclets for Rampage. This way you can max out your damage.
If you are looking for a great amount of attack gear this is the gear that I use and I nearly double the damage of other wars that I fight with.
Macro in your strength gear for rampage and you will do some really nice damage. I also recommend having Joyeuse in your off-hand, while some will disagree, when you have this much attack gear I deal almost double the damage as when I use Maneater. The attacks are also faster due to Joyeuse having a lower delay. Plus an 80% proc rate on the additional effect. I recommend the rest of your open slots to have accuracy gear. There is other gear that you can use in place of some of the above gear as needed. I see many other War's using Byakko's Haidate which I can't really say anything about as I'm still working on getting sky access. Good luck on being on of the best DD's out there!
Well, +5 VIT and +12 Attack....both spell out more damage. VIT is a damage modifier for Steel Cyclone, and if you're in a position to have access to god gear, you can have upwards of +53 VIT....which is a damn lot or VIT....and a DAMN lot of damage, especially with THF sub (which really is only way to do it)
THF sub asside, I think that these are better over all simply on account of the attack boost offered. 12 is really quite a bit IMO, but experiment once ya get them. See what works out best for yourself. This game really is based strongly on personal opinion and prefrences.
When Dynamis, and the new armor, was released, the update said "New Relic Equipment". That means the weapons, and the armor. Now whatever you call it is fine, but relic is the true name for it.
Fan name. AF2 or Relic Armor. Relic obviously is taken from the fact Relic Weapons drop in Dynamis too. The problem with calling it AF2 (or Artifact Armor Set: 2) is that people mistake it for being the second piece of original AF. No right or wrong way really.
Can't we just call these "Relic" armors R1,R2, R3, R4, and R5? Im surprised they are still called AF2. Of course its pretty funny seeing someone's reaction from a Lv.60 WAR who tells a Lv.75 that they do in fact have their AF2.
