I've spent the last month attempting this synth in groups of 12 at a time. After 56 attempts and almost 6 million of my gill spent they decided to release this new gear where you can get these exact same stats for questing :'(
Very sad and giving up I set out with my last 8 attempts worth on a random day.
No joke I just HQ'd 3 within that 8 on Gilgamesh server. I'll be selling 2 since the other was really for my SMN.
It was first quarter moon 25% darksday facing SE for anyone needing to know.

Well I got lucky and made one of these. If anyone on Gilgamesh wants to trade me a K Club for it let me know.
i can see the blood pact delay and perpetuation cost could help a smn, but i dont see why this would be worth about 80mil i think i would just get a regular robe for 1 mil

And that is basicly why it is expensive. Also the items to make it is NM drops, so it isn't like you can grow them and sell as "cheap" as HQ elemental staffs.

Yea this piece is the best (but near impossible to obtain) imo i think the next best thing would be the Yinyang Robe but thats just me also yingyang is free ^^b

Even with a 100+ leathercraft + craft gears, it is still very very rare to syn. an HQ version. If you really want HQ, prepare to buy around 20 times more materials and ask that 100+ craft gear friend to keep crafting until u get the a HQ.
Don't expect a one-off HQ, since is close to impossible on this item.

Well there have been none that sold to a different person on lakshmi all of them were bought back by the person in an attempt to set a price...
You know, that's usually just someone trying to remove a signature from the item. Or showing off how much money they have. Often, it's both though.

Austere Robe goes for 320k to 360k on Caitsith and 3 Penance Robes have been sold for 1 mil to 1.5 mil.
from what i know, without using the day to better your chances, your % of crafting this hq ittem would be 2% (with the two guild items for +1 each). at least, from what ive been told, this is the formula:
HQ = (crafter lv - product lv)%
so, adding in numbers:
HQ = [(100 + 2) - 100]%
= 2%
that is of course assuming youre lvl 100 in the craft.
and like i said, im not exactly how much the day will add to better your chance.

Just made it to the Auction House on Kujata. First one to ever be put up for sale. The regulars for 400-600k.. Whomever made this wants more than 1.5 million. Because that all I have and I couldn't get it =(

I didn't even know it existed till looking here.
So its gotta be very very rare to HQ an Austere Robe.
I don't even wanna guess what the price of this would be when someone does post one. But if I had to I'd say no less than 20-30 million >_<

Just wonderin what the prices on everyone's server were for this robe. Currently on Diablos, the only one ever sold is 100,000,000 ;p. And there is another on the AH right now... has anyone ever personally crafted one? How rare is it to HQ the austere gear? Just wonderin, thank you.
This is SO much better than the vermillion Cloak...I meen that does 1 MP recovered every 3 seconds when this one saves you 2 MP every 3 seconds when an Avatar is out...i will probably get both anyways for when i am healing...but I am deffinetly going to look into this robe! to bad none have been put up for auction yet on Ramuh... And because this is the HQ it will probably be worth over 1mil...the regular one is 600k on Ramuh... o well...all i can do is hope i can get one cheep when i hit lvl 50 w/ SMN...lol
