The Bastokan guards (I.M - Iron Muskateer) who cast signet on Bastokan's and any allies (not that that happens very often) are the people who sell these mittens for Conquest points...
Remember this - (because it seems not many people even KNOW this)
Conquest items can only be bought from another nations guards IF your nation has a higher CONQUEST ranking than the nation you are attempting to buy them from.
Bare in mind, for a Bastokan they will cost 1000 conquest points however, for any other nation they will cost 2000.
They are also sold on AH... personally, i got mine and kept them for a long time since i'm not sure when i'll be done with them.

if u r a monk and u have tropical punches, whats bettr: lgn mittens or battle gloves??

Battle gloves, always. Attack+3 wouldn't do a ton for you, but Accuracy+3 at that level will. Battle Gloves also last you a really long time, easily to 37 as a MNK sub, and all the way to AF gloves if you can't afford an Ochiudo's Kote at 34.

Well, I dont know your race but I would imagine it would be situational depending on how your fighting with Tropical Punches so far... if your doing well in accuracy, I would suggest Legionnaires mittens for the extra damage (Its not much but it helps seeing as your hitting so much). But if your having some issues with accuracy (Doubtful seeing as Tropicals have a +10 accuracy, but Im sure more accuracy sure wouldnt hurt either :P), go with the Battle gloves. But honestly I never tried Tropical Punches when I was a Monk though, so someone else might be able to tell you which would be more useful heh. Hope I helped out some. :)

i was in a party in the dunes and our ranger ran out of arrows, so i traded him all the bone arrows i had and he gave me these gloves.

The guards who sell them are the Iron Musketeers in Bastok. You must have at least Rank 1.

You can still get them as another nations citizen, but the cp cost is doubled.
