How do i find this quy all i do is run around with my 47 sam / rnq 8 do i have to find him on a full moon ? !
The hours for Haty is 17:00 - 4:00 game time no matter what day! Has to be b/w the 90-100% Full Moon phase. And it is a guaranteed drop. I wanted to know if u will lose this if u range it with my thf or nin I am using.
The shadow type guy is 17:00 - 4:00 game time as well! Has to be b/w on a New Moon phase though and also is a guaranteed drop!
They are found in various places and well just do widescan with ur rng or bst and do a huge cirlce around the craig. I found him on the outer edge of G-5 so it has a huge radius.

Ok the throwing rings, just like the boomerangs, and eggs, are infinite ammo throwing items. They always return back to you.
Eggs are not returning items, unless you plan on repeating the event every time you wanna throw it.

Got it off Bendigeit Vran on a total fluke. Was choco'ing from Jeuno to Bastok and came across him by the crag. Full moon. Got off the choco, and after an easy fight (WAR24/MNK12) I got this. It's funny, I don't even know if I'll be leveling any of those jobs (except THF, but only to 15 for now) but I spose this is good bragging rights until I decide.
Bet I just irked a bunch of people who patiently camp this guy. Sorry. :)

This weapon is also avalible for dnc blu nin and thf. it is exceptionaly good for a dnc i belive. it help pulling.

I am running through Konschtat Highlands last night with a couple of ls members, (raising our lvl 10 ninja, puppeteer, and summoner accordingly), whhen what do i see out the side view of my character but an undead dog. I think to myself "should i disengage what we are fighting atm and go see if it's Haty?.. ."
I get a little bit closer and find that it is in fact Haty! So I engage it and kite it closer to where the rest of the ls is, invite our ls pl member into the party since we are barely scratching him as lvl 7-9's ><, and he wipes him clean of the map.
BAM! Rogetsurin drop for me. 1/1 and I wasn't even trying at all. Heck, I didn't even realize that it was a full moon until after the fight. :P

I got there when it was new moon 10% but the shadow guy didnt pop till it was 0% 3 hours later. After one night I gave an earth cluster to the ??? and the goblin Archaeologist popped and killed me in less then 10 hits. I was a 57 pld too. After the way back i ran into a tremor ram, got 5 drops, found the nm for the Rogetsurin and got the drop and killed a rampaging ram for the horn all in like 10 mins. On my way to find lumbering lamburt. hope i got the same luck.
Let me tell you that this Haty NM is certainly camped in Fenrir server! There was a Blu and nin there camping with their ls buddies. But no problem, i brought three of my own buddies! And this Haty NM does not spawn in any specific spot. First spawn on Full Moon was at J-6 and the following vandel day it spawn at H-5. and both pops occured after 17:30 (nighttime) vandel time. My dragoon buddy found the nm at J-6 and killed it for me and i got the item. We waited again for the next vandel day at 17:30 and it popped again at H-5, but a nin got it. but it was only lvl 12 nin and he was with a healer...dunno what lvl. But they were dueling it and the nin got killed and it was after the mage. So the mage ran, and the we managed to pull Haty away and we got Rogetsurin for the second time for my Drg buddy.
My recommendations...just get a couple of buddies with rng sub and go hunt for it. Good luck!

wouldn't this go in the Range slot since its a Chakram type wepon instead of the ammo slot?
Got mine a few days ago off of Bendigeit Vran. Killed haty a few days later but didnt know it dropped it too or would have left it alone. First time i seen either of them so natural instinct was to kill

This is Ammo and exactly like a Chakram. I suggest getting it. It's a blast to throw and a great way to end throwing darts.

Ehh.. Long Boomerang is better if you want AGI, and does more damage... and that's not even +1. ^^

I was walkin down to mines to help a friend to BCNM 25(mission 2-3), I went down the end on konshtat(bad spelling :S) i saw this dude, from a distance looked like a real person, then i saw its name "Bendigeit Vran" killed him and got the drop, the wepeon is quite useful.

I was on my way to go to Palbrough Mines to go raise some ppl in Waughroon Shrine... and me bein' a high lvl WHM, I tely Dem to go to Gusgen >> Oldtown Movopolis to escape... around Gusgen Mines entrance in the hills area, I saw Bendigeit Vran... Confused and surprised he was an NM, I kill him and he drops this weapon. Now I have a RA for my thf and nin when I take them up! And yes, it was a... umm... moon (forgot if it was new or full) around 20:00 hrs.

I just killed him the other day G-12 not sure what the moon was .. i was just passing by when i seen him he was real easy with my 68 rdm 5 good hits for 100+ dang and he was tosed .. as for what lvl he is i think hes lvl 25-29

Haty pops during the Full moon, Bendigeit Vran pops during a New moon and they both drop this. This NM can pop ANYWHERE in Konschtat Highlands.

Full Moon...Bendigeit Vran popped on the first full night right at 20:00 and again the next night at about the same time. First NW of the Crag, Second NE of the Crag.

I just killed Haty not knowing what it was and got the drop. Oh well i only play mage jobs so i guess i willbe dropping this item since i cant sell it.

I can confirm that Haty only pops during a FULL MOON. Right now I'm testing to see if he pops every night during a full moon. It makes sense, anyway. Werewolves only come out during full moons =P

Where did you see Haty? I don't know whether to sit around the hill and widescan, or run back and forth between the points that cannotlinkto says. Maybe I'll just run around the entire area or something. >.<
Edit: Nevermind, I found him, or her, whatever. Anyways, Haty was almost in E-8 when I saw it on widescan, I guess the spawn area is pretty big, who knows. Anyways, less than 900 HP, and now I have a shiny new chakram (another reason to level thf or nin). Good hunting to whoever reads this.

I have been camping now for 3 days. Camped again last night for 4 hours, Killed Stray mary 2 times, Rampaging ram and not once did these 2 little bastard spawn. I figure they only spawn at night since they are undead. I was killing all the undead in case they were placeholders.....any Ghosts, Zombie Wolf's, or Skeletons on widescan were 1 shotted and still they didn't spawn. This has to be the most annoying NM I have ever camped for a few days that refuses to spawn.

SO far as I can tell, they only spawn during new/full moons. Possibly only Bendigeit during New and only Haty during full.

How can a DRG use these if its only used by NINs and THFs? And he's hittin pretty hard so they cant be his subs even though they wouldnt let him be able to use it either.

The only plausible conclusion is that this is in fact not a screenshot of someone using Rogetsurin but rather of someone fighting Haty, an NM that pops in place of a zombie wolf on occaision.

I just got one of these the other night in Konschtat too, but it dropped off this weird named Shadow type mob who was just standing there. (Sorry the name has escaped me) It was close to the Stray Mary spawn area near the windmills.

I got this drop during a full moon in K. Highlands. But it was off of Haty not the mob listed here. Was too weak for my 37WHM/18BLM.
Confirmed, I've also gotten this to drop off of Haty. Maybe both he AND Bendigeit drop it, and the two NMs just alternate? We need more data. :P
Oh, I saw Haty wandering around in F-8, close to the border to G-8. No idea where he spawned, though.
