On CaitSith, the price of rubies has been changing a great deal. When I was looking for my testimony, single rubies were 17k and stacks were 220k. I used to get say 5 to 7 rubies on my own, buy the rest, and sell by the stack. I made some gil, which I used to fund the beat Maat fund.
Today individual rubies are 70k and stacks are 400-500k.

They've been selling around 50k here on Odin.
I got one of these off the Ruby Quadav tonight along with my testimony and Shell IV.
Any RDM70 should be able to solo him with little difficulty. Just watch out for the Cure IV (it caused quite the mp usage on my part to take the HP off of him again). You are also right by a zone line if you get in trouble.

These also drop from Ruby Quadavs, in Beadeux (sp?) I was getting keys for coffer, 71BLM 70RDM helping me out, we were getting 25exp from it. They don't drop alot. I got one ^_^ out of about 15 kills... and Shell IV.
