It's used to make an Elshimo Palm (as stated in the description), which is a nice piece of furniture to have, I bet. ^^

Or for mages as a simple food. Why they would use it for +1 INT I have no clue. But I would just stick to pies ^^.

some blm use ginger cookies for the +5 mp regen (or other cookies i guess), these only last 5 min, so its nice to use these for a battle or 2, then use a cookie to get them mp back
