I have found that drop rate for Fruit Seeds is about 1:10 in Batallia Downs with Treasure Hunter II. Pretty bad...but if you have the tv on and just farmin with a higher level character, after about 1.5 hrs or so, u end up with a stack. Good luck and happy hunting!!

I have just started farming and am looking for fruit seeds or the least expensive oranges I have my mules set up to do my farming,cooking, and crafting. Any help would be nice. Thanks.
these are sold by the mithra kid in Ru'Lude Gardens she doesn't sell them often and they sell for 900ish gil.

where can u find these ive never gotten them as drop and ive faught saplings for about an hour and only got grain and vegetable seeds. If someone can plz tell me where i can get these other than the ah.

the reason why they are so expensive is becasue you can use the make Fire Crystals...and we all know Fire Crystals are in constant demand.
i prefer to use herb for fire crystals,

That's not really true, being that you can get good fire crystal crops from all of the seed types save grain. Fruit is just a bit more advanced of a seed, you have more options for what to grow (largely because you can feed it up to two crystals).
these sell for like 5 times what most seeds do on my server, but I dont see the combo to grow to justify this price exactly. I just tried out a batch and got watermelons and bluestones which seems nice, but is it worth the 1000 gil per seed cost? what are people growing?

i know your post is a little older - but as of about 10 minutes ago on Seraph, they were 1k per bag of seeds ^^

I bought them from the AH to see what gardening was like but I've never had them as a drop. Is gardening worth the money I'm spending on them?

IIRC, they dropped off of the Batallia Saplings nearly as regularly as Grain seeds do off the Gustaberg Saplings.
at what level was that ? I can seldom get any... started attempting to farm those around lvl 37, but I only ever get them from steal... (mnk/thf)

These never sell in the AH, and I have never gotten them as a drop. They must be hard to find

I haven't gotten any from drops either. You could try buying them from an npc in the jeuno gardens and also try logging (either way logging can get u other goodies too).
