I never got these but i wont be needing them with the new armor for my 99PLD to use

These would be good to swap in to use sentinal. Other then that +10 Shield skill>1 emnity 3mnd and 5 def. I don't see the minimal def increase effecting dmg a lot, and 3mnd might make what a couple of points difference in your cures. I am not sure if MND effects Flash, so maybe swap in for that to.

It would take over +10 MND to see any diff in cure
The "Enhanced Sentinel" on these gives an extra 5% defense boost to the ability (so it gives you a 20% defense boost total). I haven't noticed any increase in the duration as yet.
The Valor Coronet increases the duration of Rampart by 15 seconds to 45 seconds total. This pair increases the defense bonus from Sentinel. I don't know how much, but 15% does sounds about right. Although this will probably be obsolete by the time anyone reads this and they change the way Sentinel works.

Your "Enhanced Sentinel" apparently works differently than mine then. My "Enhanced Sentinel" give no 20% defense boots, and gives me a 15 second longer duration.

Well considering that there's no enmity on AF boots, and there' only 1 enmity on adaman, that's actually just fine

Yeah I was thinking thing same thing...they made the relic armor suck so damn bad... I mean enmity+1....wtf...the only thing I like on the valor leggings is the sentinel enhancment. oh well, I really hope I can get the koenig armor...which theres is only about 1 or 2 ppl with the body armor on midgardsormr....
koenig and kaiser armor r a s***load better for PLDs than this and the rest of the valor armor.

PLD relic and Koenig armor are used in two totally different situations, Koenig has absolutely NO +Enmity on it.
Koenig: Defense, +HP, +VIT, +CHR
Uses: Stuff that will beat the **** outta you without massive VIT and +HP, enhancing Killer effects (Cuirass drastically improves intimidation rate on "Dragon Killer" from Hrotti)
PLD Relic: Well-rounded stats, +Enmity, Enhanced JAs
Uses: Soloing, Ballista, XP parties...to be honest, the Aegishjalmr helps ALOT more than Koenig helm or Relic headpiece at holding hate.
Smart PLDs mix-match these sets to get a balance between +Enmity and +HP/+VIT......a PLD wearing full Koenig will take very little damage, but he wont be able to hold hate worth a damn.

I think it depends on teh case really what your doing, I mean although i disagree pld can hold hate with all koenig gear, with voke flash rampart sentinal sheild bash warwolf belt, and if your 75 with enmitty merrits, although id recommend using 1-2 pieces with enmitty, but when tanking gods u usually use earth staff anyways so no sheild or sword with enmitty. I think in all cases u gotta use different gear. Although im not a big fan of the valor set and its stats although if u convert it to +1 then its not bad
If you can hold hate during an exp party wearing full (or even a few) koenig/kaiser pieces... you have some terrible DD's.
Alternately, you have a good thief helping you keep hate. And perhaps, you're a tarutaru with a crap load of mp to waste. =p Not only does it change depending on what it is you're fighting, but your race matters as well. A galka in full Koenig would be taking forever to be killed, but wouldn't have as much hate as a tarutaru who is healing himself as much as the white mage is.
