Wading Beasts  

I have hunted lizards and died many of times and i have not yet got an egg but everytime i check the auction house they don't have any for sell.Does anyone have any advice?

you know people, if you cant afford to buy an egg for a measly 200-500 gil...then you could always (just a suggestion) try THF TH??? >< i killed lizards in south gustaberg, had my egg in less than 5 minutes. (AH was out of stock)

Once you get your lizzard egg head to the Presidents office in Metalworks. Go to the room on the left and trade the egg to Alois no need to talk to him first just select trade and you will start a cut scene.

i didnt even do this mission yet, but know i know to just buy it in the AH! ^.^

i spent 10 hours in dangruf wadi killin lizzys for these eggs and gave up later on i relised i could buy them so i did. with the 1k i made of the lizard tails ^^ a win lose situation dont ya think?

Ok a suggestion for all of you that have never used forums before. READ ALL BLOGS BEFORE POSTING YOUR QUESTIONS. Everything has been specified in this mission yet many of you are asking questions that have already been answered. So I am gonna make this easy for you..After completing Fetichism Mission. Trade 8 water crystals to Gate guard, This will open up crystal line mission, talk to Cid, Cid DOES NOT give you a crystal, either kill a mob or buy a crystal, any crystal will do, then walk/run/tele to Crag of Dem and locate Dem crystal, Crag of Dem Crystal. To get to Crag of Dem Crystal from Bastok its like this... Bastok>>>South Gustaberg>>>North Gustaberg (entrance closest to Dangruf Wadi)>>>Kontschat Highlands, Once you find the crag go to the crystal that is not broken, highlight the crag of dem crystal and trade your crystal to it, you will receive a faded crystal in return. Then head back to Bastok walk/run/warp. Head back to Cid. Then head back to gate guard and trade 9 crystals to guard talk to mission npc and wading beast is unlocked, EVERY LIZARD DROPS EGGS, some have a lower drop rate but EVERY LIZARD DROPS EGGS, personally i wouldnt waste my time farming it, just buy it from the AH its cheap it saves hours of pointless killing for a rare drop. then return to Bastok to the Metalworks area and speak with Senator Aloise near the President's Office and you will be awarded next step up in your rank.
Do not ask any more questions about this mission this is all there is too it and now you know and knowing is half the battle. Thank you drive through.

I'll save you the trouble go buy it from AH...don't try and waste your time to go to Dangruf wadi cause it ain't worth it...
This mission is ridiculous easy and i dont even consider it as a mission... O_o

Hey if anyone in Kujata needs help with any Bastok Missions up to 3-3 (3-3 is something I can't help with atm I'm too low level)

I did the Crystal Line quest, and then the Fetichism quest again, turned in a few stacks of crystals, and now the Emmissary mission is available, but I never did the Wading Beast mission...just wondering if there is any gil reward, cuz if there isn't i'll just skip it altogether.

One of the eggs dropped off of a White Lizard in Yhoator Jungle, so I assume it might be all lizards.

yes, I can validate that Steam lizards are the only ones I've EVER gotten to drop an egg (actually the first one I fought did and a few thereafter). They are in the areas accessable by geyser only. Large groups of 13-18 need only apply.
