SummaryGauntlets wrought by Borghertz, the legendary craftsman, lie hidden somewhere in Vana'diel. WalkthroughNote: To begin this quest, you must have completed the quest 20 in Pirate Years - NIN AF1 and activate the quest I'll Take The Big Box - NIN AF2. To start this quest, first speak with Guslam at H-8 of Upper Jeuno. The galka will tell you about a pair of old gauntlets seen in Ifrit's Cauldron that might have once belonged to the legendary Borghertz. Head to Ifrit's Cauldron and find a Cauldron coffer key. These drop from Dodomekis, Dire Bats, Old Opo-opos, Volcanic Gases and Volcano Wasps. Next, find a treasure coffer, which appear in several places throughout the zone. Remember to keep up sneak and invisible as you run through the caves, and be careful not to agro any bombs by using magic too close to them. Once you find the Treasure Coffer, trade your coffer key to the coffer to receive the key item some old gauntlets. After you received the old gauntlets, return to Guslam. He will say the gauntlets are work of Borghertz, but he cannot repair them. You then have to go speak to Yin Pocanakhu in the Tenshodo shop in Lower Jeuno, who talks about a toolbox that won't open. You have to pay her 1000 gil to tell you where the toolbox is at. Once you pay her, she then tells you she left the toolbox on top of a crate outside of the Duty-Free shop in Port Jeuno and that you can have it. When you examine the ???, a cutscene happens and Borghertz appears and asks that you bring him some "shadow flames" from Castle Zvahl Baileys. Go to Castle Zvahl Baileys and examine the torch at F-8. A NM bomb by name of Dark Spark will appear. Kill it and examine the torch a second time to get the key item Shadow Flames. After you have received the shadow flames return to Jeuno and re-examine the ??? outside of the Duty-Free to get your Ninja Tekko. If it wasn't for Hercule's ring and the little bit of regen/refresh effect and Spirit Taker I'd have gone done very quick.

Yea, it sounds stupid and all, but it wasnt posted anywhere. Plus, it made my day (woo).
Lotsa eva is needed. The wasps con <tough> at 61, but they are slow. Add paralyze, slow and blind (ninja tools) and guaranteed win against them.
Wandered for about 1 hr in the Cauldrom until I found the coffer.
I had the AF1 and AF2 quests done already

The reson i posted this tho, it droped my key! and not seconds later a WHM raises me, I come around a corner and BAM! There is my coffer!
