Mission OrdersReceive two bags of food offerings from the Rhinostery, and deliver one bag to each of the Yagudo who stand by the altars of offerings in Giddeus. Don't forget to report back to the Rhinostery after completing the mission. WalkthroughAfter you talk to the guard, he sends you to the Rhinostery at (J-9) in Windurst Waters. Walk up to the roof and talk to Leepe-Hoppe. He gives you two key items: Food Offering and Drink Offering and asks you to take them both to Giddeus. It is recommended that you purchase a Map of Giddeus before you leave town. Head to Giddeus, located at the Northwest corner of West Sarutabaruta. Once inside, stick to your left until you reach (H-7) on your map. There should be a Yagudo NPC named Laa Mozi standing in front of a cave. Speak to him and he will accept the Food Offering. Return to the zone entrance and this time, keep to the right until you reach (G-7) on your map. You should see another Yagudo NPC named Ghoo Pakya. Speak to him and he will accept the Drink Offering. Return to the Rhinostery and head back upstairs. A cutscene should start. After that, speak to Leepe-Hoppe, who redirects you to the gatehouse. i just did this mission with a friend and we both gave them the food and drink offering and we went back, got a cutscene, went to the gate an tried to get another mission but for some reason they wont let us. Can anyone exlplain that?

I gave the drink offering, but now I am at the other guy, and he won't take my food offering! I had someone help me get past the hard guys, and I don't want to go back. Can someone help me?

You probably went too far in if you were having to pass hard lvl Yagudo..the two yags u need to go to is the one if you stay on the right wall all the way until you get to the tunnel and likewise with the left wall both took my offerings

You can actually do the whole mission without battling a single yagudo. Just stay out of their line-of-sight, run behind them and they wont attack you.

Once you're in Giddeus, hug the left wall (ie take all left turns) until you reach the altar. Can't miss the Yagudo NPC in front of an altar. Give him what he wants and return to where you came in at. From there, take all right turns until you reach the second Yagudo NPC who will take the other offering from you. Now scoot your jolly butt home to pick up your rank. Oh, the yags in here are about the same level as the ones in saruta maybe a level higher, so if you can't take them in saruta, don't do this mission yet.

Does anybody know the exact amount of rank points needed to start mission 2? I have over 3500 and it still won't give me any missions. I've been to Tahrongi Canyon and back a few times but still don't have enough! :(

The Rhinostary is in South Windurst Waters, and Leepe Hoppe can be found on top of the building. To get on top of the building, go around the south end and up the stairs.
Giddeus is in the North Western part of West Sataburata. To get into Giddeus you need to go to the northwest part and exit through the path at the bottom, to get into Giddeus. The building in the VERY northwest is NOT for Mission 1.3...

i want the key for the airship pass and i have heard some yagudos give you them in giddius, they said the ones that give you them are strong. im a 24 BLM/9 WHM do you think i could go in there and get the key solo?

solo is a little bit hard at lvl24. to get the giddeous key you have to kill yagudo votary, theologist and priest.
you need also 2 more chest keys. one in gselba and the other one in gunseng i think. you have to kill orcs and quadavs ^^

For the keys you have to kill Votarys and Priests at Giddeus, Old Quadavs (there's another quadav mob, but I can't seem to remember it atm >.<) in Palborough Mines, and Cursemakers and Fighters in Yughott Grotto.

I am a Lv12 THF. I had completed my Rank1 mission.
However, I cannot get the Rank2-1 mission? Is
it because my frame is not high enough?

Ok, fame has nothing to do with missions, if you can't do the 2-1 mission, the only reason i can think of is not enough "rank points" and/or not completing all 3 rank 1 missions.

I just finished this mission and decided that i have enough times to do the next, but it doesn't allow me...

At the end of this mission, you need to report back to Leepe-Hoppe before you return to a gate guard.
Why is this a minor correction. You said the same thing the original post said.

so, my girlfriend (a lvl 13WHM)just completed this mission, when she did, there was a moggle floating behind her and she talked to it and it gave her an "adventuring certificate". i am a lvl39DRG and i am rank 3.5 (havent been working on missions much :P) and i never got this item, what is it and why didnt i get one? if someone knows, id be ever so happy if theyd tell me :)

The moogle she saw has nothing to do with this mission, it's part of the adventurer appreciation event. There are moogles in every town.
i talked to the Taru and went back to the guard and she still tells me to pick up the food offering...

Following All lefts you will find one at H-7, he will take your food offering. Following all rights you will find him at G-7, he will take the drink offering. I did this as a Lv. 8 RDM and this was easy . watch out for acolytes as they cast bind on you and u can get jumped quickly by adds, also watch for poison as the damage may sneak up on u if u have no magic for healing. Dont worry about the bees though.. no aggro . at least for me.

what is wrong with people that play this game don't they know how to read a map?? ex: G-7 B-3 that tells people where the loc is your talking about. Trying to describe where it is, is just stuped!

You sir, are a ******. Howabout I give you a position deep in yuhtunga jungle and you try to find it? There is more to getting to a specified map position than just walking there. In Giddeus it is more than easy to get lost falling down holes and taking wrong turns.

I just did this mission solo as lvl 12 RDM and not one single enemy attacked me. I think lvl 10 may be the first easy level to solo this
