[Blue][/Blue]i havent seen a twinstone earring drop
Do NOT try to train the ones in dunes at 60. Each can hit for 4-8 damage, that adds up fast when there's 25 lizards hitting you.
Verinor is right, its fun to train this on my 60 Rdm, but thats just me. with only Protect and Shell (both 3) IF they manage to hit me THATS IF it is for 1 or2 damage, RDM AF is 3rd highestin Def tho. Idk what ur thinking (Pld, War, Rdm) so its not that bad just dont try fighting them or else you will be wasting time, unless you have -ga spells /blm FTW!!!

I dunno, as a 55 galka pld, I can train about 15 without having to really worry about damage....but then again I am a galka pld..
can I solo this as a 20rdm/6blm? I need the skins hehehe

in the dunes at 19 these all rate easy with a few decents thown in. a 19 ninja can solo the easy ones with str/atk food without needing utsemi. decent ones are safe to solo with utsemi.
just be careful of links and their petrifying special attack (Baleful Gaze, it's rare but they do use it), that can ruin your day.
Some other notes on hill lizards...
other special attacks include:
Tail Blow - 150% damage + stun
Block Head - 200% damage + knocks back (and might stun)
Plague Breath - cone damage + poison (3dmg/3seconds - lasts a while imo)
Fireball - AOE fire damage
Infrasonics - AOE evasion down
special abilities:
secretion - evasion boost
They aren't particularly strong, fast, or accurate. the ones in the dunes drop skins, tails, and of course crystals. I've never seen an egg drop from them.

The best I ever had was 2 blm 1whm(me) 2 war and smn
the two tanks alternated hate me and the smn healed and the two blm nuked like hell 5 lvls in 2 and a half hours. AMAZING!
It could have been better cause the one blm sucked and kept over nuking but it was still amazing.

Best party I had in dunes was 2 nin/wars, and 4 blm/whm...the tanks barely got any damage and knew how to keep the hate away from the mages. In 10 hours I went from level 13 to 20....so bye bye dunes! Since then, I have found a few other good parties, but that was the best party without a redmage or a whitemage main in it.

If you have a powerleveler, that doesn't make your party good. Powerleveled parties do not count in the "Best party" category. The first party I ever had in the dunes was being powerleveled, nobody had to heal, everyone just meleed, even the mages. The tank rarely had hate, because the lizards, rabbits and crabs just ran to the PL. Who would dare say the party is good? They would be crazy.
It would also mean the players in it - chances are, mostly newbies - wouldn't get a chance to learn how to do their job better.
Powerleveling sucks, and is only good for easy exp. Key word; easy. You only have to attack the enemy to kill it as it'll go after the powerleveler, and focus on it. This isn't good if you want to be good at your job.
Being a whm I *HATE* PLing and I *HATE* being PLed. Why? Because it doesn't give me a chance to do my job, and it doesn't give me a chance to learn how to do my job better if I ended up ******** up. I hate PLing because I don't want to PL. Period.
Earn the exp you need to get, not have some high level healer (*cough*) cure your pt so that you can get it easily.

ok the earings only drop in Meriphaud Mountains
they are 900 for a quest in windy, worth it to me.
as for the spawns in the dunes?
they are at both entrances and in the tunnels.

I just spent the last 6 hours (and 3 lvls) redruming this stinking lizards just this time around, not counting all the other times I have done it, I have never gotten an earring drop. wtf is up with my luck >.<

I just fought lots of them in Valkurm, in the open space near the entrance from Konschtat Highlands.

I played for 10 hours yesterday in Valkurm, (got 3 levels) and didnt see any lizards, is there a specific place for them to spawn? I need the lizards skins for the quest with Hanaa Puna. Thanks.

I'm sure you have found this info by now but the best place to kill hill lizards is the area near the Highlands entrance. Many hill lizards with not so many high level goblins.

I got an earring drop of a lizzie in meriphataud mountains. This is the only place i have gotten an earring drop, it is part of a quest in Windurst, reward is wrapped bow.
