So I was leveling my THF in the dunes, and since daggers are null (at least until 15 or so) I decided to check out getting a scimitar. Normal was in for 20k, a little more then I wanted to spend on a 2 level item. So I looked at HQ, which was going for 15k! So I got it, gonna try a resale at 30k once I'm done.

I tried to make this 5 times ... no luck, smithing at 62 ... 5th time my goldsmithing skill went up 0.2 points .. so obviously it requires GS skill to make +1 ...
