Just for reference sake, this can also be mined up in Mount Zhayolm. It probably falls under the Rare catagory. I mined 2 up in just under 2 hours.
Songs and Ninjutsu will never catch magic aggro. I suspect that it is because they aren't TRUE magic, like White, Black, and Summoning are. You're using tools to perform Ninjutsu and your own voice to sing the songs, I suppose, instead of magiking up the elements for 'true' magic.

Um... I almost had my *** handed to me in Ifrits Cauldron lol...I wasnt searching for adaman ores but actually the zone for Sea Serpeants Grotto...*fumes at the Yuhtunga/Yhoater jungle map*...Im a 56 Blm and if it wasnt for ES + SleepgaII + Warp i think i might have been a 55 blm O.o...well anyway hope this helps(and if your wondering yes i did have sneak and invisi on but sneak wore and hella agg >.<)
Whats the mining rate on these?
The Unicorn server price is 50k steady now.
our LS did mission 6-2 and bought a Adaman Ore TOO BAD i couldn't do the mission since it was already 3 A.M in the morning and I had to work the next day...so i was lucky to even complete Mission 6-1

Seems like this ore drops off most of the badass mobs I probly will never have a chance at defeating >.<
the price of these has droped tremendously on my server since the last time i checked they were once over 100k but there no more than 50k i belive

im lookin to go to ifrits cauldron to mine up some adaman ore myself but i think i should really try to print out a map and study the location... otherwise im in for a slaughtering.lol if anyone has any tips about mining the cauldron please tell me i need to know

Well, unless your level 75 RDM/BLM or a level 50+ anything else w/ a RDM or WHM sub @ level 25
75 BST could also do it... maybe...
50+ BLM and 34+ RDM Could do it but... not w/ ease
Then again you could go Broke on:
Prisim Powder/Silent Oils
and have some way to WARP out

i mine it on my 30blm
currently sub for my rdm (atm 59), and i can't say as i expect to survive much in there. i sub nin for tonko, since the bombs aggro magic, but not NIN spells.
i'll die a few times for 80k, as that's what the last one i mined up sold for (fenrir)
i'd rather not take my rdm or any 50+ job out there unless i'm in a pt....i expect to die, so why die on a job that'll take a few hours to get the xp back on instead of one you can recover in a few battles?

I mine as a lvl 20 WHM / 10 NIN and haven't died in quite a few weeks, I just walk by the Ash Dragon and zone through the Yuhtunga exit when Im done mining. Very easy and profitable.

In 2 days mining the cauldron, I was lucky enough to get 3 adaman ore and 1 orichalcum ore. For anyone interested in trying, go for it, but get ready to die a lot. *Ok, the bomb has moved, safe to mine this point* *begins to mine* *in the middle of a hit, bomb moves* *franticly tries to end the mining sequnce and move* Asarath is defeated by the Volcanic Bomb.

Does TH increase your chances of getting adaman while mining? I quit going there to make my cash as I spend thousands on picks and never get the damn drop, even with full worker gear
