the time that these last was drastically reduced fairly recently. i am not 100% certain if it applies to when you are wearing the opo-opo crown -AND- when you are not, however, i can say with absolute certainty that they only trigger the crown's hidden effect for 5 minutes now. this caused quite a lot of bellyaching from bards throughout the server and forums... well, every nerf does.. but hey- at least they are inexpensive.

You get all those noce stats (+50MP/+50 HP, +14 CHR) while wearing either the Opo-Opo Crown or the SAM AF Gloves, both of which increase the effectiveness of certain foods.

Which is why you see BRDs and BSTs wearing an item that gives -7 CHR lol

I believe it gives you 50 mp and 14 chr when you eat it while wearing the opo opo crown which is obtained by doing a quest. Not positive so don't take my word for it

Still trying to find the details on the bonus, however, it is not simply for mithras. I think it might be job and/or quest related.
