Ok first of all this quesy is one of the biggest pains that I have done in the game so far. It me 62 hours to get a key drop and I found a coffer about 6 hours after that. This key made me almost quit this game but that I dont think will ever happen. It sucked but with the help of a 75 nin and a few mages I killed dark spark he was easy just used weapon bash when he went to explode and he was unable to use. When u finally get the key it is an easy quest.

I was in the process of getting these for my 51 taru dark knight when I came across a little mistake in the explanation of the quest. After you obtain the old gauntlets from the coffer and go back to Guslam, he does tell you that they are beyond his ability to repair but stops there. You then have to go to Deadly Minnow at the counter who tells you to go to the Tenshodo in Lower Jeuno to talk to the mithra, Yin Pocanakhu.

Just didn't wanna have anyone get as confused and worried as I did over such a little mistake.

i can not get this quest i have done af1 i am lvl 50 drk and have done lb1 am a hero in jeuno and when i talk to him he says head to the counter for service anyone know why i can not start the quest? is there another quest you have to start? or somthing else i have to do. plz email if you know what is going on

The gloves are not the most simplest to obtain, even for there undieing great look *is Drk 63 Ifrit Server* indeed its kinda good for saving gil to have this pair of glvoes, but saddly for humes, we hunger for More Str and Dex *attack+ACC to you noobs out there* seeing hume is pretty much a evened out race.
These gloves would be ok for Elvaan because god do tehy miss Alot, but isnt my spot to state this, because drks miss prob then mostly any other job. Because we have to swing the heavy scythe around or the slightly lesser hvy G-sword. Personally i think scythe is great for hume, helps with our dmg rate, but seeing you get more speed for G-swords After 60+ for us is pretty great, more teh swings more the dng correct? if you gun warrior for yer sub you get Double da smack down on the monster that dares to Step in your path. but the cost of speed means lesser chances to hit. thats when you slap on hordes of over priced armor like my sexy Haubergeon, and my rusty Ryl Knt mufflers. with my assault earring. When i reach 70 i will be very very Uber with my full thick set. non-costly besides teh Hauberk, but when i trade my haubergeon, *like mail in rebate* and bam i will be like a true champion drk. *if Maat doesnt kill me first* Oh and heres a SHout out for Ifrit server. Got my Old Gauntlets today. Help from a BLM57 to sneak, invis and open gates with.

Get to Hume Bones (Lich C Magnus spawn point) and a BST with SMN need a hand fighting the NM so we do and kill it. SMN gets aggro from Earth Elem casting Warp so I voke, BLM Escapes.

We make our way back down to the Hume Bones, BLM dies from Azer (bomb type) while flipping a switch. Comes back then we camp the spawn points on that level. A passing skill up party say the coffer was popped about 30mins ago so we decide to go back to the first level and look.

Another party had openeda gate so we got to look in the Western room, not in there. Desperate measures now. We both meet at the top of the stairs in Western room. BLM casts Sneak on me, I run north to the gate, BLM flips the switch, I go through, flips again, I'm through. With sneak still on, I perch myself at the top of the North room stairs to switch room. I Tab around... Treasure Coffer! A lone Azer is circling the thing. I didn't have invis so I had to wait for BLM to come. He dies again from bomb (casting Sneak, erasing invis). I wait for Azer to face away, I run up, hit coffer macro, gauntlets are mine. Scroll of Instant Warp.

~ok, after 7 tries and 9 deaths i decided that i was going to just get one high level to help me....

Got a 75 sam/nin to help out... got it in no time! i stayed by the zone and chilled while he blink tanked and demolished everything that came his way! I'm thinking of changing my main job to sam now o.O

I finally have some game luck..5 min two mobs got my key. On to the coffer hunt!!!

[b][/b] Ya sup im working on my complete Af right know, i just finished Genkai 2, and im about to hit 56, soon 57. This quest is hard for me because most of the high level people here in Cerberus are Japanese and they Barely help. This game relies on to much help from others, and most are not willing. Ill just keep trying and hope for the best, i know when im 60+ in going to help everytime im asked for FREE, only way i wont help is if im n a PT at the moment or im Going to Log out for the night, but some of my Saturday night i LVL, and do quest, and ill be most willing to help all with any that i can.

The key drops from Tomb Mages, Tomb Warriors, Spriggans and Haunts. The first two are by far the easiest.

umm says here min level is 2 diff things

can i get confirmation thats its just 50?


if so i gotta team of 75's ima ask to just help me get all my AF in one weekend (im level 50)
