Since what level can you catch these guys? im 26 fisherman and want to make fish mithkabobs, so i can catch nebimonites, sardines, shall shells and buy the bluetails (since I don´t have lu shang's)...
They don't sell for much.

It's not worth the trouble to farm for gil, but it's definetly worth the trouble if you're trying to level your Bonecrafting skill. Bonecrafting skill level 18: Wind Crystalx1, Shall Shellx1 makes a pebble. HQ result is a Black Pearl.

I started fishing these up in Valkurm Dunes at level 13 fishing with the full fishing gear. You use a Halycon Rod and a Robber/Rogue rig to fish em up. Be careful when fishing for them tho, ONLY pull up if you're sure it's a Shall Shell. You wouldn't wanna snap your rod/line on anything else and lose your 25k pole and/or 40k lure, would you? Those prices are for Bahamut server.
These sell for 25-30k a stack on AH and I can fish up about 8 stacks a day before I get fatigued.

Anyone know how many ponzes these weight for clamming yet?
[Edit] Well, they weigh at the MOST 4 ponzes. I got 4 pebbles and 2 jacknives, coming up to 46 ponzes, then a Shall Shell. So yeah, 4 ponzes at the most unless the bucket can hold more than 50 ponzes...

It's called a Shall Shell.
You need to learn how to check dates on the posts. The post was made back in 2003, also known as almost 3 years ago.
Back then, the item was listed as Shall Shellfish, which was wrong, they were just giving info on the correct english name.

yes. these drop, and yes they drop in many different places. i got some off pugils in windurst, so i dont think this descriptions too accurate. and yea, they sell really high in san d. 600+.

Yeah I got a Shall Shell also, I think it's the equivalent of a Shal Shellfish yes.

Does anyone know if the translation is wrong? I'm not sure about this item, but when I was killing Pugils in Qufim, they dropped a Shall Shell. Do you think that's the American version? Have any of you gotten a Shall ShellFISH? Thanks in advance.
