Description
The Yagudo tribes have made their homes in the dry, rocky cliffs to the west of Windurst. Adventurers who wander here must travel with care, as the Yagudo are aggressive and tend to attack in groups.
The Federation of Windurst has a treaty of sorts with the Yagudo of Giddeus. The tarutaru bring food offerings to the Yagudo in exchange for peace and harmony. However, this treaty is shaky at best, and the relationship between Giddeus and Windurst is contentious at best.
Points of Interest
- Hoo Mjuu the Torrent, which drops Monster Signa, spawns around H-10.
- A Giddeus Chest Key is needed for obtaining a Kazham Airship Pass without paying gil.
- Chest keys drop from Yagudo on the southern end of the map.
- Beware of large, round rooms that might have hidden holes in the middle of them.
- The AF weapon for Dark Knight is obtained after defeating a notorious monster at E-12.

I am currantly doing the 3rd mission in windy where you have to go to the alters in Giddeus, only i am having trouble finding the alters. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Where can I get a map for this place?
This area is a great area to farm in, you can do multiple things here.
1. There are lots of NM's to hunt with some really good drops.
2. If you want to try goldsmithing you can turn your Yagudo Necklaces into copper ingots with 1 lightnig crystal. Copper Ingots sell for 10k in Bastok. If you want to level clothcraft, turn the necklaces into thread.
3. Also if you are leveling Gold, use the ores you get from worms to turn into Ingots. 3 copper and 1 zinc will get you a brass ingot. A stack goes for 30k in Bastok.
4. Beehive chips sell for over 20k a stack in Windy. Kill all the bees you can find.
5. Bring a couple sickles to work on harvesting.
6. If you don't want to turn in necklaces into thread or ingots, turn them into Windy for Norg fame. (Utsusemi Scroll) You can use this for Ninja or sell for a million gil or more.
Again this thread might not mean anything to some higher level jobs, but if you are level 10 - 20 and don't have time for a party, or if you are just starting out on the 360. Come here to farm/level up and make lots of gil doing so.

What an a$$inine waste of time the map was. Those lines, all that bouncing around in the basement sent me to the Beguiler's pop spot, an area with some of the highest mobs in giddeus. The spring itself is located in K-12, as far se as you can go, and all I had to do to get there, was stay to my left all the way, and not change maps at all. A persecutor and a piper were the highest level mobs I saw the entire way back. Thank you for that useless map. I'll make use of it next time I want to camp the Beguiler.

Where do these directions go?? long cut imo.
small note the drop in I-8 puts you on the lower floor in I-8, not sure why this map was made, if you are going to the elevated area with the nms and key droppers, drop down the hole located in south west corner of H-7. avoid the red path altogether and go down the west side of the map directly to the hole. also two of the holes are really close to ramps to the other floor, if you want to avoid aggro at lower level steer away from the grassy areas in the tunnels. If you are making trains for necklaces dont use the holes you will lose your train.
(You should have bought a squirrel!![rat race if you haven't seen it])

The path leads to an NM needed for the DRK AF1 quest.
EDIT: I've been looking on different maps, and I think that path is a rather roundabout way of getting there. You can just head straight to the small black dot and follow the path from there. The red path has you cross through a few unrelated low-level NMs, but otherwise seems unnecessary.

i was walking thro here finding out stuff when this bird started on me i killed it in 1 hit then all his friends came round the corner :0
i managed to kill them all but i was on low hp so i started heling near this pool then 2 killer bees killed me ,--, i took 1 of them with me tho

now thats nice of someone to pgive directions to the bcnm area in giddus but 1 thing u could also go to G-10 and take a left if u dont wanna go through the bottom area, but i like the smiley face lol
You can get to the BCNM area that way, but not to the upper area where the chest keys drop.
You have to drop through the hole and go through the lower level to get there, because if you go to G-10 and turn left, you will walk into a cliff.

Path on map leads more to bird whistle/AF gear (forget job)and there is one lonely Voltary who can drop the key on the lower area near the zone to BCNM (f-12) map, also a chest that pops in the same area(g-12).
To get to the BCNM area you dont need to go to the elevated area at all or the lower floors.

on all the websites i have checked none of them show the giddeus treasure chamber but does anyone really know where it is and how u get there because my mission is the but im stuck help please.I need DIRECTIONS.

This is where you get it, there's a small path that leads to a chest spawn point with usually a SAM and SMN type sitting there looking bored and a 'Giddeus Spring'. Smack the yags for me and then run as close as you can to the spring and tap it until it gives you water. I haven't done this quest, only seen it while I was farming, but apparently you need something to carry it in (I assume this comes with the quest), so make sure you get that beforehand.

How do I get to the southernmost square? I was told that's where the key dropping mobs were, but I have no idea how to get there (there's a cliff in the way of all the passages to that area)

They're used for both. Since you can get chest keys more than once (but you can only have one at a time), the Giddeus key is for the Kazham airship pass AND will open chests there.
As for the pos, there's about 12 spawn points for chests in Giddeus. I've seen at least one website that has spawn points mapped for all areas.
im just wondering if the key that the votaries, priests, and theologist drop are actually for a giddeus chest....or are they only for the kazham key quest? if there actually is a chest plz tell me the <pos>.

The path to Balgas Dais is the westward one at F-12 on the 'main floor' map.
This is where you will fight the dragon.
If it's like the other 'Mission 2-3' dragon fights, you will have to bring in a pt made up of either Rank 3 (or higher) players, and/or people working on the dragon fight of their 2-3 mission (and have to fight that dragon).

First time posting, was wondering id there a specific job that you need for it to drop the bow? I camped him at J-11 and 12 and he spawned either every 30 min or every hour and fougt him about 8 times getting just the light soles every single time finally gave up. On Ifrit server so anyone gets the bow for me, I'll give you five light soleas lol others on AH..:(

im doing bastok mission 6 also...where is the treasure room located? i cant seem to find it...
the treasure room is G-6 downstairs.
