I was in the third area up of Ghelsba about 2 minutes ago and a massive of column of orcs came running past me and down to the first area. There were like 10 grapplers and a stonethrower warmachine. And in the middle was a special orc (cant remember his name) who was already being attacked so I couldn't get in :( Then all the orcs I saw started runnning in the same direction. Was very odd
That would be a train. Someone grabbed aggro from one Orc (assumedly the 'special' one who was claimed) and the rest linked. The person who get all this aggro probably couldn't handle all of them, so he/she ran back to the entrance to zone (which caused all the orcs he/she passed by to link as well). It happens quite often, especially when lower-level players try to solo in the higher camp (or when trying to kill Warchief Vatgit for Mission 2-3, which was probably who that 'special' orc you saw was).
dayum i got lucky here i managed to get 5 elm logs on 1 hatxhet and 8 on 2 hatchets total80k for only 2 hatchets pretty damn good but it was pure luck and probably won't happen again
You've probably done this by now but for everyone else that wants to know =-P the Barracader drops lantern sheild (duno if it's rare/exclusive, never dropped for me ~_~) I believe, and the Walbreacher drops Strike Baghnakhs (12-16k).

Yes Wallbreatcher drops the Strike Baghks which are about 20k apiece and is a more common drop than the one from barricader who drops the Lanturn shield (+5 attack) which runs about 120k per i am currently 12/20 on the shield =)
i love this place first of all i like to log here for elm ^^ i do this every once in a while when i get low on gil and also when i want to start back up on lvling up my woodworking <lvl 9> but also with my lvl 23 rdm i like to coem here and just farm up gil it may take a while to take off but after a while u just kill more and they start droppin 15 and up gil every one and i made 5k off this oen time waiting for one of my pt members for my mission 2/3 which i still havent finished >< im only half way done but yea thiss place is my favorite ^^

Anyone know what the NPC orc does that is in the Hut Battlefield? I have examined him many times and nothing happens...is he used in some missions later on or what?
All he does is sit there and watch the 3 other orcs that you fight. I have done this many times helping ppl. Almost broke record but i miss fired an AOE. Oh well. Hope this helps!

Everytime i go logging. It's very busy. So i mainly stop since i can never get a logging point after 30 minutes of running. Im wondering whats a good place to log? Ive heard of areas. Note: Not all logging points are active at all times in area, infact, most are not active at any given time, hence a lot of running/hitting tab or F8 trying to find the active ones and getting there before everybody else.
The ?? mark as you're entering Ghelsba from W. Ronfaure is a Goblin who when you trade it a crystal will let you playback one of your completed missions. I noticed that he didn't keep the crystal though and you never saw him, he just spoke to you. I don't know if it's fame related before it will work as I just used it last weekend.
Those goblin's are located in all area's that you have to "Enter a Battlefield" in this case, "Save the children" Also, you don't have to trade it a crystal, you can trade it any item that you can put in the trade slot.
These goblin's are located in : The Waughroon Shrine (Palborough Burning Circle) Balga's Dais (Giddeus Burning Circle) and Ghelsba Outpost.
They are marked by a "Goblin Footprint"
When you examine, it will say "La la la la items, la la la....."
*Edit* The goblin's name is Rafflix and he will show you what happened when you fought the BCNM (this one shows your battle against the Warchiefs in "Save the Chidlren" mission) When you speak to Rafflix anywhere else he'll show you your battles against the Dragons for Rank2-3
buy the map at Ranperre Gate in N Sandy.. the NPC you need is standing under a tree D-9(sorry fro double post, just wanted to make sure everyone saw it)
I went to look for the map seller here ... but nobody in the Ranparre Gate area (either under trees or not) was selling maps. Instead, I found the NPC (Elesca) near the fountain at I-8 in the Parade Ground. She sells the Ghelseba map and a few others. See my post below for more info.
When you enter the Southwest gate, look to your left and you will see an npc standing beneath/beside a tree. This person will sell you maps of Davoi, Ordelle's Caves, and Ghelsba Area.
I believe Elesca sells the same maps as well. I geuss it's just for people's convenience that there are 2 map npc's in the area
This place is good to train but when i get aggroed I run and go the wrong way or get aggroed by other orcs... and does anyone know where to get a map...
Hmm ... I most definitely found the NPC who sells the Ghelseba map (for the Outpost, Fort and Yughott Grotto) standing by the fountain at I-8, not at Ranperre Gate. The NPC's name is Elesca; she's an old Elvaan woman with white hair and a robe.
OK, a little direction for you. Immediately you enter Ghelsba, you will come into a wooded area. If you take a left hugging the mountain you will find another path that takes you into the "easier" version of Yughott Grotto. If you look to the right you will see two stone markers that have like a bullseye painted on them, that's the way to Fort Ghelsba just keep going up all the time until you find the area where the Warchief spawns. To enter the Fort you need to go through the hut that is in that area. Also, Yughott has another entrance through the Fort that takes you to the BCNM area or Horlais Peak. Of course, the Orcs that spawn here are super tough if you are on your early 20s. It's better to visit around level 25 or higher if you want to take out the mobs effectively. Hope this helps.

A LS friend said they got an item from this guy, and I'm a level 20 war/10 thf, so I know I can take him, and have done so several times, but If I can't steal anything from him, and he doesn't drop anything, then i won't bother. and yes, I know beast coins can be stolen, already done that
im a lvl 9 red mage and in search of a good place to lvl... im in bastok markets the best thing ive found is monster hill with the sheep becuse they are ez 2 kill but does anybody have any suggestions
Ok my Char is from bastok and i did the winddurst emisary mission first. Now i had to go to Sandoria , prob is i went killed the warchief 3 times and still wont let me complete mission
The Warcheif is located on the very top floor of the Ghelshba Outpost that leads into the fort, just fight past some few easy orcs and he's right there.
Same place as the Barricader, in the Cave all the way to the north down by the river. (F-?) i believe... you have to kill the Barricader first, then wait close to an hour, then the Wallbreaker spawns... The Strike Baghnahks are a very RARE drop also.

Ok look. The Ghelsba area is NW of the west gate. just keep going NW you'll find it. I really dont need a map. Go up to get to forts, go down to get to lower areas through the cave.
