It depends on your definition of "good."

In terms of cost, this recipe is very good to skillup on. Everything it takes is relatively cheap ... the most expensive in ingredient would be the trout if you don't fish it up yourself. Most likely these won't sell ... at all, maybe if you're lucky :D I just vendored all mine

Making Fishing Bait
# Dec 22 2003 at 6:52 PM Rating: Decent
I'm getting ready to move in fishing skill and fish for Cheval Salmon. I understand that they only 5 baits (Minnow, Sinking Minnow, Fly Lure, Trout Ball and Rogue Rig).

My question is what is needed to make Trout Ball? Animal Glue and a Shining Trout? Or can they only be bought, and if so where? Any other reciepts for fishing bait would also be helpful.

If you want to catch Cheval Salmon, you should just use a fly lure. It's cheaper, you'll get more bites, plus you'll also catch some Shining Trout. (Why would a trout bite on trout?)

I'd suggest fishing in Ghelsba, on one of the rivers.

What do you mean what is needed to make Trout Ball? The recipe is listed right above.

I hate contributing to the problem (adding unnecessary posts) but..

LOOK AT THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL POST.

You'll notice that he asked that question in December. Hence, in December, the recipe was probably not listed which is why he posted in the first place.
