Ebisu Fishing Rod
old news jesus post something worth while about this rod like how it stops u messing up if u hit wrong direction in neutral position? OMG I HAS THIS ROD is just bull **** posts' ppl want to know it's skills what it does etc i had this rod almost 2yr and never once posted i have it coz ppl get it and think there a better fisherman, give the lowbie's something to look forward too a rod thats
Never gonna break
Has almost 50% less line snaps (just a pimp reply get the rod and speak)
Has a reduced "stamina" regain on fish vs a rod in neutral position
coupled with the sign and map is like walking into a shop that has set prices and bartering with them and getting stuff cheaper :S
and offcourse e-peen + 1
Good luck getting this rod it's worth it and more than worth the stress snapping your lu shangs :P

I've had the Ebisu Rod a while now and fished in various different places. Not once have I ever had the message "whatever was on the line was too small to catch with this rod". I've fished up everything that has been on the line.
Catching Grimmonites in SSG did seem a little tougher than before with the Lu rod (but still easy), but then again I don't tend to wear my fishing gears any more. If I were to go catching Liks and Gugs again then I would wear the gears still.
I just wish they gave the rod a different colour or something. It looks just like the Lu Shang and after all the work that went into it I kinda hoped it would stand out more.

Yep, I've heard petty much the same. It's unbreakable, but can't always catch the smaller fish. My question is, if you're high enough level to get this(Min. is 78 I think) WTF are you doing catching small fish??? lol
the ebisu rod is better than lu shangs in that it is, in fact, an unbreakable rod. but whether or not it can catch the same range of fish as lu shangs, is unknown to me. i would still hold onto the lu shang rod just in case.. especially since it took so much work to get it (unless youre one of the ones who bought one.. :x)

I read somewhere that this rod never breaks, not even from catching legendary fish.
Because of that it might only be used for catching large fish. So even if you get it, it might be a good idea to keep your lushang too.
Im not 100% sure this is correct, i read it somewhere on a forum some time ago. Hope this helps

Not much is known about this rod other than it is extremely hard to get.

From posts ive read, I've hear that this is the best rod, beating the Lu Shang. Could be wrong, but that's what I've read. Take Care =)
